Drill holes with a diameter of 32-40 mm. A diameter above 42 mm is not recommended because it increases the risk of material ejection. Hole depth should be at least 70% of the target splitting thickness. As a general reference, natural-rock hole spacing is 200-350 mm, while reinforced-concrete spacing is 150-250 mm.
Remove all drilling dust and standing water before mixing. Blend the powder and water thoroughly until no dry lumps remain. Fill the prepared holes densely and complete pouring within 10 minutes after mixing. Actual results depend on the material, free surface, hole layout and ambient temperature, so a small-scale field trial is recommended before full construction.
